This piece was commissioned by an Austin family to capture one of their children's favorite activities--playing at the creek on a sunny afternoon. I did a quick study (a sketch using paint), while their mom took photos. Then I used both visual aids to recreate the scene on a larger canvas. Oil on canvas, 20 x 24", Nov/Dec 2007
